I wanted to take a moment to thank our wonderful principal and staff for all that they have done getting ready for this monumental school year. Our Marvin staff always goes above and beyond for our children under normal circumstances, but I know that they are doing far more than they ever have this year given the circumstances.
I also wanted to ask that we are all patient and kind to one another going into this school year and beyond. This may go without saying because we have the best community there is, but I think it's an important reminder for everyone.
We have all been through a lot these past few months, but the one thing I know to be certain is that the Marvin staff love our children and want what is best for them.
As we wait for letters from school with instructions, and as we enter the new normal this school year whether it be virtually or physically, I ask that we all try to be as patient as we can be. Be kind to one another, our actions teach our children how they too should behave. And be respectful. Everyone is in the same storm, but we are all in different boats.
Let's stay Marvin Strong as we have since March and will continue to be. We will get through this, and I know it will be far easier together.
