Research shows that student success is directly linked to parental involvement both at school and at home. When parents are active in their children’s school, grades rise, self-esteem grows, and schools improve. As parents and teachers work together, we become strong advocates for the education and well-being of every student at Marvin Elementary.
Our website is updated regularly by the PTA. This is your best access to all things MES, including volunteer opportunities, calendar of events, online spirit store, opportunities to donate and the latest news surrounding MES. You can sign up to receive newsletters; but don’t assume that all new information is emailed. There are times when new information is posted and not included in the newsletters. School Supply Lists
Each year we provide the educational supplies and equipment for all students, but we usually compile a list of additional supplies that would be great extras to have.
This year, ALL children will be provided with supplies to
keep in their pencil boxes. No supplies will be shared!
Parents usually ask the teachers what they need to help out
the class. The following items have been a part of our supply list for the past several years. All donations are appreciated, however, please do not feel obligated to purchase them.
All grade levels...
Box of Tissues
Roll of Paper towels
Unscented Baby Wipes
If you have any questions about the upcoming school year, please do not hesitate to contact our principal, Sue-Ellen O'Shea at email@example.com or 203-899-2890.
